Starting in 1985, Hugh Keen (Owner) incorporated Hugh’s Concrete and began working small-contract jobs around the Southeastern United States.  Before graduating from Chiefland High School in 1981, Hugh accumulated awards in masonry competitions, eventually placing 1st in Florida and 7th Nationally in the Vocational Industrial Club of America (VICA) Olympics.  Starting from humble beginnings, the company has exponentially grown & evolved over the last four decades, and continues to proudly serve the greater Central Florida area.
